Kenmare und die Region
Kenmare is a colorful coastal town in the south west of Ireland.
The best flight connections from Germany are:
Kerry - from Frankfurt Hahn with Ryan Air
Cork - from Zurich with Swiss or from Stuttgart with a stop in Amsterdam.
Kenmare - or Irish An Neidin (small nest) is rather small but lively with less than 3000 inhabitants. There are numerous shops, pubs and restaurants. Kenmare is a good starting point for hiking tours and excursions to the Iveragh and Beara peninsulas or the Killarney National Park. You can play golf at Kenmare Golf Club or on one of the beautiful courses in the area.
Even a day without a hike is no problem in Kenmare. A walk through Reenagross Park and the pier, a visit to the stone circle, a stroll through town followed by a drink in a pub.
